Draft for legal review, not yet in effect. Items in [brackets] need filling in before launch.
Elim is made by Brave People ("we"). This page says what Elim collects, why, who processes it for us, and how to have it deleted. Last updated [date].
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, and your name and picture if you sign in with Google.
- Your worlds: what you type into Elim: world and island names, descriptions, crew, routes, milestones and notes.
- Connected tools: if you connect a tool, we keep an encrypted access token so Elim can read it on your behalf. From each tool we store counts and dates only (for example "3 new form responses this week" or "11 hours of meetings for this venture"). We do not store names, email addresses, amounts, message contents or form answers.
- Billing: Stripe handles payment. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your plan; we never see your card number.
- Usage and errors: pages viewed and features used, without the text you type, and error reports when something breaks, so we can fix it.
Questions you ask Claude
When you ask Claude to suggest crew or explain how your ventures connect, we send the island details involved to Anthropic, which provides Claude, and return the answer to you. We count how many questions you ask each day to apply your plan's limit. We do not use your content to train models, and under Anthropic's commercial terms neither does Anthropic.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (database and sign-in), Railway (hosting), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (Claude), Resend (email), Sentry (error reports), PostHog (product analytics), and, only if you connect them, Google, Typeform and Stripe as sources of your counts. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Google user data
Elim's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Elim reads your calendar only to total the hours you spend on each venture, and keeps only those totals.
Sharing your world
Worlds are private unless you turn on a share link. Anyone with that link can look around the world. Private signals, such as overdue invoices, storms and lead counts, are never shown to anyone but you.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your data while your account is open. Deleting your account from the Account page removes your worlds, private signals and connection tokens straight away, and cancels any subscription. Backups age out within [30] days. Stripe keeps billing records as the law requires.
